Fields Mapping for External Group


After setting an external group we will usually do field settings:



First match the fields in your account to the columns in your table.
Also we can set some fields as 'closed' fields with multiple choice.
The possible values for those fields will be taken from another table in the remote database.

In order to set a field as a closed field the "field to query" checkbox should be checked.
In the "table for multiple selection" choose the table that contains the values for that field.
In field value choose the column that contains the values and in the field description choose the column that contains the description (if there is no such column you can choose the values column again).

Pay Attention: It is extremely important that the type of the field in the system and in the database will match.

After setting the fields click "Save".
